is Ranked #3 of 22 Restaurants in Invermere.
Some say it is disappointed, excellent, classic.

I've been to Strand's many, many times, over three decades, and have never been disappointed. It's fine dining served in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. Don't be at all surprised to see Chef Tony Wood visiting the regulars to catch up. In winter, you can request a table by the fire; in summer, one in the garden. Because the restaurant is in a heritage farm house, you can also request an intimate room for a small group or the enclosed porch for a larger party.
Rank #3 of 22
The core of Strand's menu is classic European fare: chicken, pork, seafood, or beef, served with perfectly-prepared veggies, and potatoes or spatzle. Pasta dishes are rich and satisfying while soups and salad fit the bill for the lighter eaters. And don't forget the House Coffee with dessert!
The food is consistently excellent, but it's the feeling that really makes Strand's what it is. In many ways (and literally, for me), it's like coming home. Strand's is the house your grandmother never had, the meal she never served, and the neighbours you wish were your own.
I can't wait until the next time.
